Dr. Tomar shared his research experience with the students and motivated them to love their work in order to scale heights. He tried to clear common misconceptions regarding the earthquake engineering. Dr. Tomar has extended full academic support to CIZ in the field of structures. He will be visiting the institute’s campus frequently now to hold special lectures.

Akshaye Raj Aggarwal, Director CIZ conducted an interactive session on the topic “Basics of Structures” with civil engineering students of 3rd year. The session was also attended by M.Tech students of the university. The talk also included a power point presentation on various career alternatives for a civil engineer.

[ppmtoggle title=”CIZ Benchmark at Baddi University Fest-2015 (27-03-2015)”]Compete India Zone, an institute exclusively for Civil engineers, conducted a visual comprehension quiz “CIZ Benchmark” (2 round quiz) for the civil engineering students of Baddi University. Akshaye Raj, Director CIZ and an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, demonstrated the students on various civil engineering topics, after which students were asked to give the answers. A total of 42 teams took part in the event out of which the scholarships were given to top three teams winning the event. The participants felt ecstatic after taking part in the technical event. CIZ is the technical sponsor of the annual fest “Emanation ’15” of Baddi University.
